About:
A native Houstonian, Ms. Gardner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and International Studies with a focus on Communications Management at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.  After spending two years living and working in Athens, Greece after college, Ms. Gardner returned to Texas and attended the University of Houston Law Center where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2002.

Ms. Gardner’s practice includes commercial litigation, personal injury defense with an emphasis on Jones Act and maritime litigation.  Prior to her arrival at The Bale Law Firm, PLLC, Ms. Gardner served an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Texas in Potter, Armstrong and Fort Bend Counties, gaining extensive trial experience in complex felony cases.  In her service as a prosecutor, Ms. Gardner tried over 40 cases, serving as first chair on over 25 of those cases in which she picked juries, cross-examined adverse witnesses and prepared hundreds of witnesses for trial.

Ms. Gardner is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas and all courts of the State of Texas.  She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Fort Bend Young Lawyers Association, the Mexican-American Bar Association and the Houston Mariner’s Club.  Ms. Gardner’s Spanish abilities and interaction with Spanish-speaking witnesses aids in assisting clients accordingly.
